What is SS 430 Stainless Steel Wire?
SS 430 wire is a ferritic stainless steel wire known for its magnetism, oxidation resistance, and good formability. Composed of 16–18% chromium and minimal carbon content, it is best suited for moderately corrosive, non-structural, and decorative applications, especially in indoor or dry environments.
Available in soft, half-hard, and spring-hard tempers, SS 430 is widely used in equipment wiring, racks, mesh, and appliance components.
