What is SS 304 Square Bar?
SS 304 (UNS S30400) is an austenitic stainless steel containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which provides excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
Unlike martensitic grades, SS 304 is non-magnetic, cannot be hardened by heat treatment, and offers excellent ductility and toughness even at low temperatures.
