SS 321 Square Bar Manufacturer

SS 321 Square Bar is a titanium-stabilised austenitic stainless steel specifically developed to deliver excellent performance in high-temperature and welded applications. This grade offers superior resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding or prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures.

We manufacture and supply SS 321 square bars in a wide range of sizes and finishes. Our products are engineered to meet stringent quality standards and are widely used in heat exchangers, exhaust systems, aerospace components, and thermal processing equipment.

What is SS 321 Square Bar?

SS 321 (UNS S32100) is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that contains titanium as a stabilising element. Titanium combines with carbon to form stable titanium carbides, which prevents the formation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries during welding or high-temperature exposure.

This stabilization mechanism protects the material from intergranular corrosion, a common issue in unstabilized stainless steels exposed to temperatures between 450°C and 850°C. As a result, SS 321 square bars are highly suitable for applications involving continuous or intermittent high-temperature service.

SS 321 is non-magnetic in the annealed condition, offers excellent toughness, and performs reliably at temperatures up to 870°C, making it a preferred choice for heat-resistant structural components.
