What Are SS 316 & 316L Round Bars?
SS 316 contains molybdenum (2–3%) to enhance its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich environments. SS 316L, the low-carbon version, improves weldability and reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion post-welding. These bars are ideal for high-temperature, marine, and corrosive service environments.
