What is Stainless Steel 304L Bar?
SS 304L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel designed to minimize the risk of intergranular corrosion during welding or exposure to elevated temperatures. It maintains excellent corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength, and outstanding formability, making it the ideal choice for pressure vessels, food-grade equipment, and structural fabrication.
Its low carbon content (≤ 0.03%) ensures improved weldability and eliminates the need for post-weld heat treatment in most cases.
